"a man was walking and decided to fall"

A walk as a continuous exploration.

Time and pace slow down,
the gaze becomes sharper
and previously unnoticeable things
suddenly acquire significance.

It is the walk that is the main tool for Alyosha.

A hidden path to Yalta,
restless areas of Murmansk,
foggy quarters of St. Petersburg,
leisurely movement through the nooks,
forests and streets

allow us to pay attention to objects:
pieces of walls,
children's diaries,
newspaper clippings.

All this becomes an installation,
an instrument, or disappears.

Here are the results of the artist's walks
along the streets of the city of Apatity: objects united
in several series-walks. Each walk is
a story about the journey of an attentive pilgrim,
looking for harmony and beauty
in opposing things.

These journeys are very close:
you just need to go outside and take a step.

We have the power to “decide and fall”
and nothing prevents us from “deciding and flying”.

exhibition was held in the lobby of the Izovela sanatorium in July-August 2023

It was a dense and intense time: every day was a coincidence, a creative adventure and a discovery.
A lot of it remained in my pictures,
some in the videos I shot with my camera, and in photographs. The rest is in my dreams and bits of memory
